The lab is directed by Dr. Jee Eun Sung, a professor in the Department of Communication Disorders at Ewha Womans University.
The lab’s primary research interests focus on understanding language processing and communication difficulties following brain damage, as well as investigating age-related communication and cognitive disorders.
Research Interests

Neurogenic communication disorders, including aphasia, dementia, and mild cognitive impairment

Cognitive-linguistic assessment using behavioral, neuropsychological, and neuroimaging methods (e.g., ERP, eye-tracking, fNIRS, taVNS)

Cross-linguistic and cross-cultural perspectives in language rehabilitation

Development and application of digital and culturally adaptive tools for clinical assessment and intervention
