The research of NABLe focuses on understanding neurogenic communication disorders and aging-related cognitive-linguistic decline across diverse language populations. We investigate how the brain processes language in clinical populations such as individuals with aphasia, dementia, and mild cognitive impairment. Using behavioral experiments, neuropsychological assessments, and neuroimaging techniques—including fMRI, ERP, fNIRS, eye-tracking, tDCS, and taVNS—we explore sentence processing and language rehabilitation strategies. Our work emphasizes cross-linguistic and culturally adaptive methodologies, as well as the development of technology-based and AI-integrated assessment tools. By integrating linguistics, neuroscience, and digital health innovation, NABLe aims to promote accessible and personalized language assessment and intervention across the lifespan.
