2025 EWHA-ICU Crosslinguistic Workshop

On Saturday, March 29, 2025, the 2025 EWHA-ICU Crosslinguistic Workshop was successfully held in Room 361 of the POSCO Building at Ewha Womans University.

This workshop is part of the ongoing Korea–Japan Joint Research Project supported by the National Research Foundation of Korea. Researchers from Ewha Womans University—including Professor Jee Eun Sung of the NABLe Lab—participated in the event. From Japan's International Christian University (ICU), Professor Seunghun J. Lee, Rina Furusawa, and Honoka Endoh joined the workshop. Additionally, Professor Tomoe Arii from Yokohama City University (YCU), who also participated in the first workshop, took part once again.

This study began on April 1, 2023, and concluded its two-year journey as of March 31, 2025. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Professor Jee Eun Sung and Professor Seunghoon Lee for their invaluable leadership in fostering active collaboration and research exchange throughout the project. We also extend our appreciation to all the researchers who contributed their time and effort to enable meaningful analyses and discussions. This collaborative project provided a truly rewarding opportunity for academic exchange and intellectual growth. Moving forward, the NABLe Lab remains committed to pursuing impactful research through ongoing international collaboration.

2025년 3월 29일(토), 이화여자대학교 포스코관 361호에서 2025 EWHA-ICU Crosslinguistic Workshop이 성공적으로 개최되었습니다.

이 워크숍은 한국연구재단 한일협력연구사업의 일환으로 시작되어 올해로 벌써 세 번째를 맞이하였습니다. 올해 이화여자대학교에서는 NABLe 성지은 교수님을 비롯한 연구원들이 참석하였고, 일본 ICU(International Christian University)에서는 이승훈 교수님, Rina Furusawa, Honoka Endoh가 함께해주셨습니다. 또한, 제1회 워크숍에 이어 YCU(Yokohama City University)의 Arii Tomoe 교수님께서도 자리해주셨습니다.

본 연구는 2023년 4월 1일에 시작되어, 2025년 3월 31일을 기준으로 2년간의 여정을 마무리하였습니다. 그동안 활발한 교류와 협력 연구가 이루어질 수 있도록 이끌어주신 성지은 교수님과 이승훈 교수님께 깊은 감사의 말씀을 드립니다. 또한, 다양한 분석과 논의가 가능하도록 노력해주신 모든 연구원들께도 감사드립니다. 이번 협력 연구를 통해 풍부한 학문적 교류와 성장의 기회를 경험할 수 있었던 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다. 앞으로도 NABLe 연구실은 지속적인 국제 협력을 통해 의미 있는 연구를 이어나가겠습니다.
